Craft Apprenticeship Scheme
Cox London has opened applications for the next cohort of apprentices.
In 2025 we launched the Cox London craft apprenticeship, welcoming our first apprentices, Nazifa and Lucky. Applications are now open for another two apprentices to join us in September.

Legacy of Heritage Crafts
From forging and lost wax casting to patination, the apprentices will be gaining hands-on experience across our crafts as they begin shaping their future in making.
This programme combines training with academic learning, leading to a Level 3 Diploma in Craft Skills for Creative Industries awarded by City & Guilds. These two apprenticeships are three-year, full-time placements where you earn as you learn.
Through this scheme, we aim to support young makers and the future of craft. In doing so, we honour the legacy of our own journey and those who came before us, ensuring the continuation of heritage crafts. An important step on the journey to building the Cox London Academy as a centre of excellence for craft skills.
Next cohort of apprentices
Our first apprentices Lucky and Nazifa, have now completed over seven months of learning and training across every craft practiced in the atelier, as well as spent time in every department including Design, Sales and Marketing.
Our next cohort of apprentices will begin in September, and applications are now open for two young people to join our artisan community. If you or someone you know is interested in hands-on training, learning ancient crafts at Cox London and has no prior experience we encourage you to apply.
