This position involves overseeing the company’s designs, workshops, studios, and showrooms, encompassing various trades such as property maintenance, decoration, and the installation and upkeep of stock and equipment. You will be responsible for conducting repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) both internally and externally across the company’s four locations, which include in-house metal workshops, a design studio, and the exclusive gallery. A proactive attitude is essential, along with the ability to remain composed under pressure, uphold professionalism, and exhibit diligence, all while showcasing a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities Include
· Executing planned preventative maintenance across all company studios, galleries, workshops, and machinery, as well as internal and external premises, to ensure that the properties maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times.
· Performing proactive inspections and addressing any necessary repairs, while overseeing and managing the operation of equipment, including inspections of emergency lighting and fire alarms.
· Carrying out health and safety risk assessments in accordance with established safe procedures and relevant safety method statements.
· Facilitating the relocation and installation of artwork, furniture, lighting, and materials to accommodate a demanding production and installation schedule.
· Managing vehicle-related responsibilities, including the maintenance of company vehicles and executing delivery and collection tasks as needed.
· Safely handling and transporting artwork, which includes wrapping, packing, and crating using suitable techniques and materials.

· Handyman, plumbing, painting and carpentry experience.
Qualifications (desirable)
· BTEC certificate or similar qualification
· Minimum Level 2 Electrician qualification

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior – Intermediate CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of luxury design projects, from bespoke lighting to metal furniture and architectural integrations. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in CAD design, with proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, as well as a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. You will work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to create accurate, technical drawings, develop custom designs, and support our production processes. A background in architecture or experience interpreting architectural drawings, including floor plans, will be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop a thorough understanding of materials and manufacturing processes used by the company, including lighting manufacture and fabrication of metal furniture (materials such as glass, bronze, brass, steel, and stone).
– Interpret and produce accurate CAD and production drawings based on architectural designs, including the ability to survey existing products, collect precise dimensions, and represent them accurately in drawings.
– Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments and external partners, maintaining professional and positive relationships.
– Demonstrate strong attention to detail, form, and finish while ensuring efficient and safe management of design documentation and database administration.
– Produce high-quality technical manufacturing drawings and proposal imagery for clients, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
– Develop bespoke designs or custom drawings based on the standard product range and new product concepts.
– Prepare and deliver comprehensive product drawings for manufacturing, ensuring clear and accurate representations.
– Review and interpret client-provided architectural plans, producing detailed client drawings as required.
– Draw floor plans and interpolate architectural drawings as needed to integrate products seamlessly with client layouts.
– Check prototypes against technical manufacturing supplier drawings to ensure compliance and accuracy.
– Draft detailed and accurate installation guides for new products.
– Coordinate with the manufacturing team to ensure client briefs and expectations are understood and met.
– Maintain and update the company’s design database to ensure up-to-date information is available for all stakeholders.
– Understanding of lighting products or experience in lighting design is beneficial.
Required Skills & Experience:
– Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD is essential.
– 2+ years of experience in a similar CAD design role, preferably in a manufacturing or design-focused environment.
– Strong foundational knowledge of the design and manufacturing process, (particularly in metalwork), and a keen interest in Cox’s processes.
– Experience or background in architectural design or .interpretation of architectural drawings is highly beneficial.
– Experience producing detailed technical drawings and proposals for manufacturing.
– Ability to draw floor plans and interpolate architectural drawings with attention to detail and accuracy.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
– Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and consistency across all documentation and designs.
– Solid understanding of materials, finishes, and fabrication methods relevant to the company’s product range.
– Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
– Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is a plus.
– Competence with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and communication purposes.

The Job
We are recruiting a Fabrication Technician to join Cox Production Team responsible for the manufacturing of Cox pieces. Each member of this team is expected to be adaptable and inventive, learning and developing the variety of processes and finishes as per the Cox London house style.
You will be expected to fabricate company products to the required standards within specification, in full and on time meeting the costed hours for fabrication.
This technical role is for the fabrication of high end interior products. You need to be and expert in your field with high level experience and knowledge of metal working and fabrication processes, predominantly in brass but also ferrous metals suitable for furniture & lighting manufacture.
We are looking for a reliable hardworking person with initiative, high standards and a professional outlook. The successful candidate will have the ability to maintain our quality service provided to customers by upholding company standards, values and behaviours.
Duties and Responsibilities
Producing high quality furniture and lighting as per the specifications provided ensuring items are produced in full, on time and in spec
Maintain professional and technical knowledge continually improving your skills base
Maintains safe and clean work environment, upholding Company H&S policies
Application of technical processes such as welding tig, mig; silver soldering, soft soldering; metal fabrication in mainly in brass or steel; cutting and preparing materials for fabrication; fabrication of jigs; product assembly including involve the handling of glass, stone or wood; metal polishing; metal chasing.
Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications
Architectural & sculptural metalwork welding (ideally specialising in brass or bronze)
Experienced and/or expert, more than one skills area, coaching and guidance of other team members, high level skills and knowledge gained through training and experience – typically 10 years plus post training.
BA, MA or Qualified Apprenticeship in metalworking processes or similar
