As Cox London pieces are produced in- house to order, we are able to offer many alternative finishes and customisations for individual designs. Finishing Options
Patination and surface treatment is an extremely important element of the work and all finishes are achieved using traditional techniques. The ethos at Cox London is for a finish to be natural, organic and timeless. As each piece is finished individually no two pieces are exactly the same adding to the uniqueness of the item.
Great care and attention is given to the final colour whether it is an oxidized patina, hand painted, gilded or plated surface. Samples can be provided on request. Please discuss your requirements with the studio.
Tabletops
Cox London produces an in-house range of signature tabletops in a diversity of materials. Rich and beguiling Guinea Fowl feathers, antique mirror, marble, kiln formed glass or etched steel are among the surfaces on offer. Their range of table designs can be specified with any of these unique tops and final finish of the piece would be recommended by the studio to make a good marriage of materials.
In addition to their own repertoire Cox London have produced a myriad of bespoke tabletops for clients over the years. Whether it is a particular marble or stone, a specific wood or specialist glass they welcome individual requests to create that unique piece.
