The Job
We are looking for an experienced Photographer & Videographer to work within our close-knit photography and creative team.
Your role will be essential to capturing the aesthetic of the brand – you will be responsible for capturing still and motion shots for the company’s clients, social platforms, website and newsletters. You will be bringing our unique products to life, supporting every facet of the business through always maintaining the highest standard of quality.
It’s important that you are passionate about photography and videography with an eye for capturing the essence of materials and quality of art, furniture, craft and Interiors and bringing narrative to your work. This role will be ideal for a dynamic, proactive, and collaborative individual who excels creatively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working within the Photography Team reporting to the Head of Marketing.
- Creating high quality content for both digital and print including social platforms, marketing materials, events and the company website, ensuring brand guidelines are always met.
- Working on a combination of adhoc photography across the business, as well as scheduled room set shoots with studio and natural lighting. From photographing the making of a piece, creating it’s website image to an event around it’s launch.
- Taking responsibility for editing all content on time, maintaining a high and consistent standard, with an emphasis on accurate colour correction and executing meticulous file management.
- Ensuring your photography and video content engages with brand storytelling, capturing the essence of the products, materials, process and finishes.
- Administrating the company video, and photography media library and sharing assets when required.
- Collaborating with other photographers, art handlers and marketing teams to ensure all shoots are organised, carried out and followed through efficiently.
- Making sure that the studio equipment is taken care of and stored appropriately when on site and on location.
- Occasional documentation of completed work for production purposes plus client approval with careful inputting of these images into company data base
Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in product photography and videography
- Expertise in product photography, lighting, composition and post production skills
- 5+ years’ experience photo/video editing, using Adobe Creative Suite- Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premier-Pro
- Interest in contemporary Art, Design, and Art History and Interior Design
- An eye for colour and form and composition
- An advanced knowledge of photography processes and technologies
- Practical understanding of digital capture and colour management
- Practical use of professional camera systems and lighting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Docs
- Ability to thrive within a fast paced, growing company with excellent work ethic
- Relevant Commercial photography experience or qualifications (desirable) Bachelors Fine Art Film/ Photography/ Post Graduate Diploma in Photography or BTEC

Patination, Finishing and Wiring Technician

As a Patination, Finishing and Wiring Technician, you will be developing your understanding of metal finishing processes with a natural ability for practical manufacturing processes involved in the finishing of high-quality interior products such as furniture and lighting. Each member of the technical finishing team is expected to be adaptable and inventive, learning and developing the variety of processes and finishes as per the Cox London house style.
You will be expected to work within the tasks provided as per the costs applied to each individual job brief. To be successful in this role, you will need to be self-motivated towards learning new techniques for custom finishes and bespoke orders. Each project assigned to you will be required to be finished within a reasonable time frame and within specification, meeting with the client’s needs and the company’s high standards. Your goal is to maintain a quality service provided to customers by upholding company standards, values, and behaviours.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Practice, learn, develop, and perfect metalwork processes as required within Cox London workshops.
- Apply cold and hot patinas on various metal surfaces to achieve a range of finishes as per Cox London’s design standards.
- Lacquer and distress metal surfaces to create antique or custom finishes.
- Spray special effect finishes onto steel surfaces to achieve unique colours and textures.
- Assemble and fit mirrors, glass pieces, and chandeliers, ensuring secure and precise installation.
- Perform glasswork tasks, including beading chandeliers, fitting glass into frames, and cutting glass to size as required.
- Operate machinery, such as scratch mops and polishing wheels, for finishing processes.
- Use hand tools (e.g. drills, pliers, hammers) for metalwork, patination, and glass-related tasks.
- Perform some heavy lifting as part of handling and installing of larger pieces.
- Wire and electrify chandeliers, utilising soldering techniques.
- Participate in PAT/wire testing, ensuring all electrical work meets safety and quality standards.
- Operate and keep records as required within company HR and Production software systems: Hibob and Emax.
- Attend technical and safety training sessions.
- Assist with on-site and off-site installations.
- Employing safe working practices during operation of equipment, notifying the need for repairs.
- Maintain safe and clean, work environment, upholding company H&S Policies.
- Ensure waste is kept to a minimum and shortages reported.
- Contribute to a happy, efficient, and co-operative production team, fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between teams, departments, and your colleagues

As the Senior Design Estimator your mission is to effectively research and select the best practice processes, materials and suppliers for the purpose of manufacturing company designs. Your goal is to ensure maximum profitability for the company with the combination of affordability and outstanding quality for the customer. A comprehensive understanding of materials and processes is essential alongside being able to interpret production drawings. You will be expected to have a good rapport with all stakeholders in the business both in-house, and externally with suppliers to maintain and develop good working relationships. You will have an eye for optimum costings and be able to form efficient database administration.
Key Responsibilities Include:
– Liaising with sales to understand the scope of custom or bespoke projects and advising.
– Building up strong positive relationships with existing company suppliers to obtain quotations on component parts as well as sourcing new and appropriate suppliers.
– Consult with technical experts, internally and externally, to gather costs and processes for manufacturing.
– Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time and raw material, equipment, and labour expenses to prepare and submit RRP quotations for the Sales Team.
– Understanding suppliers’ capabilities through research and visits to gather information on materials and outsourcing.
– Use internal ERP system to calculate estimates.
– Read off-plan and CAD technical documents to prepare estimates.
– Collaborate with Production Management, Technicians, Designers, Company Directors and Sales Team to ensure smooth running of projects.
– Ensure all relevant and essential information pertaining to quotations are passed on to production.
– Recommend ways to make a product more profitable while improving or maintaining quality and client expectations.
– Ensure all pricing meets with company margins post manufacturing and is sustainable for repeat orders.
– Assisting finding information for company reports.
– Yearly review of Cox London catalogue collection and rechecking costs throughout the year. Alerting significant changes to the Creative and Sales Directors.

The Job
We are recruiting a Fabrication Technician to join Cox Production Team responsible for the manufacturing of Cox pieces. Each member of this team is expected to be adaptable and inventive, learning and developing the variety of processes and finishes as per the Cox London house style.
You will be expected to fabricate company products to the required standards within specification, in full and on time meeting the costed hours for fabrication.
This technical role is for the fabrication of high end interior products. You need to be and expert in your field with high level experience and knowledge of metal working and fabrication processes, predominantly in brass but also ferrous metals suitable for furniture & lighting manufacture.
We are looking for a reliable hardworking person with initiative, high standards and a professional outlook. The successful candidate will have the ability to maintain our quality service provided to customers by upholding company standards, values and behaviours.
Duties and Responsibilities
Producing high quality furniture and lighting as per the specifications provided ensuring items are produced in full, on time and in spec
Maintain professional and technical knowledge continually improving your skills base
Maintains safe and clean work environment, upholding Company H&S policies
Application of technical processes such as welding tig, mig; silver soldering, soft soldering; metal fabrication in mainly in brass or steel; cutting and preparing materials for fabrication; fabrication of jigs; product assembly including involve the handling of glass, stone or wood; metal polishing; metal chasing.
Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications
Architectural & sculptural metalwork welding (ideally specialising in brass or bronze)
Experienced and/or expert, more than one skills area, coaching and guidance of other team members, high level skills and knowledge gained through training and experience – typically 10 years plus post training.
BA, MA or Qualified Apprenticeship in metalworking processes or similar
