Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer commissioned design services?
Yes. Commissioned works are at the heart of what we do. Whether modifying an existing piece or developing an entirely new concept, we work closely with private clients, designers, and architects to bring unique visions to life.
Can I customise materials, finishes, or dimensions?
Certainly. All our pieces are handmade in our North London atelier, allowing flexibility in scale, material, patina, and detail. We are happy to accommodate spatial, stylistic, or functional requirements.
Do you provide technical drawings or renderings?
Yes. Upon commission, we provide technical drawings and—when helpful—material samples or rendered visuals. These assist with approval and integration into your broader design scheme.
What is your lead time?
Lead times vary depending on the complexity of the piece and studio capacity. On average, 18-20 weeks.
Where are your pieces made?
All designs are conceived, sculpted, and fabricated in-house at our atelier in London, by a team of artists, blacksmiths, and makers using traditional and experimental techniques.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Our logistics team works with trusted Art Handlers to ensure safe, insured delivery to private homes, commercial projects, and collectors globally.
How are Cox London's pieces packaged?
Each piece is housed in a specially constructed Cox London crate, designed to ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition.
Do you offer installation support?
Yes. Our knowledgeable installation team can assist in assessing your space to ensure a smooth and successful installation. We provide guidance on structural requirements, access considerations, and positioning. For more complex pieces or sites, we can coordinate with your contractors or design team to support planning and execution and attend installation with Cox London trained Art Handlers.
Do you undertake site visits?
Yes, we do. Site visits can be arranged within London and internationally when required. These visits allow us to better understand the architectural context, technical requirements, and spatial opportunities of your project, ensuring a seamless and considered result.
Can I visit your showroom?
Yes. You’re very welcome to visit the showroom during opening hours without an appointment to explore our collection and speak with a member of the team. If you’d prefer to make an appointment, we’d be happy to prepare for your arrival and tailor the visit to your interests.
Can I visit your workshop or atelier?
Yes, but visits to our atelier and workshop are by appointment only, as they are active making spaces. We’re always happy to arrange a time for you to view works in progress and discuss your project in more depth.
Do you work with trade professionals?
Yes. We collaborate with interior designers, architects, galleries, and art consultants. Trade pricing is available upon request for qualifying professionals.
How do I begin a Commission?
Simply get in touch via our contact page. We’ll schedule a consultation to discuss your requirements, after which we provide a proposal outlining process, cost, and timelines.
