The Role
This is a strategic, hands-on role leading the Finance function and providing key financial insight to drive business growth and decision-making. As part of the Leadership Team, the Finance Controller will shape financial strategy, ensure strong governance, and oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious finance professional (ACA or CIMA qualified) with solid commercial experience, ideally in manufacturing, and a proven ability to think strategically and drive improvement. You will join a collaborative, fast-paced environment with leaders passionate about growing COX into a global luxury brand.
Skills & experience
- Ability to lead a small finance team to complete the monthly and statutory reporting requirements.
- Operating as the Business Partner to support the Managing Director and owners. Genuine passion to help build a solid platform for a high-growth business.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and driving the decision-making process within the Senior Leadership Team. Key role to support critical-thinking process and lead change.
- Strong analytical skills and a critical mindset to support and improve business operations across sales, manufacturing operations, Warehousing & Logistics and New Product Development.
- Solid systems experience.
- Strong communication skills with the gravitas and presence to operate at Board Level.
- Ambitious, forward-thinking professional looking to take the next step towards achieving a senior finance role.
Qualifications
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA,CIMA) with 3-5 years post qualification experience ideally within a medium or large manufacturing organisation.
