Brass and Glass Lantern

The spherical glass lantern drew inspiration from period 19th and 20th century lighting. It is designed as a portico or hall way lantern and the brass suspension rods offer an interesting alternative hanging solution to a single chain.

Available in bronze, antique bronze, verdigris. Silver or antique silver plate and polished nickel are also possible for this piece at an extra charge.

Finishing & Customisation at Cox London

Each metal component is cut lathed and shaped to construct the frame of the lantern. The glass panels are slumped and curved in a kiln and the final patination is traditionally applied by hand, and overlayed with wax lacquers and gold leaf.
