The table was inspired by fragmentary Roman marble legs found in London’s Soane Museum. The cast iron leg takes the form of a stylised lion head and paw foot. Decorative Guinea fowl feathers are fanned out under a thick glass top held in heavy wrought iron bands.

Finishing & Customisation at Cox London

Originally cast in plaster the table is then moulded and cast into iron using traditional casting processes.  When chased and assembled the metalwork is then hand painted with an antique finish.
